8 Years Strong
Dang I can't believe we are about to hit our 8th year anniversary. I guess this is a good time to go over how we made it to this point lol. Seriously grateful that will be celebrating this milestone this coming Monday. We've been together since 2004 sealed the deal 2008 and here we are 12 years later. All I can say is it doesn't even feel like that long. I feel like we just got married and we are newlyweds. Since we still don't have kids yet sometimes people think we just got married anyways lol so it fits perfect. I wish I guess that's me wishing we were still a young married couple.
-Newlywed Stage-
**UTAH**
Beginning of our marriage journey we lived in Utah. Let me just say that was where we figured out how to cleave to each other. We didn't have any immediate family there in Utah when we first got there. We made friends and hung out with some of the closest family we had. Let me just say that was where we learned what the characteristics of a friend is and what we wanted out of a friend. We got put in to awkward situations and seriously thought we made life long friends but that ended up not being the case. It was sometimes annoying that we went through weird situations like that but one good thing that came out of it is that our marriage got stronger. We were in Utah for about 5 years almost 6 years (most of our marriage) We still look back and laugh remember the good times. Don't get me wrong not all friendships were a bust. We still to this day have good friends in Utah and still think about moving back from time to time. Utah just had a lot of memories of some of our lowest times we've shared together. Utah will always be our 2nd home! I will never forget all the memories we made there and how strong it has made us a couple. I think we are unbreakable because of the lowest times.
**WASHINGTON**
We lived here for exactly 1 year. We loved it very nice to be near my parents and my sisters and couponing was on point!. It was nice to be around family all the time. For some reason it still didn't feel right wish for us so we prayed and boom we moved again lol. best weather and best stores and best couponing and duh best family!! lol.. If we aren't in Texas we are in Washington.
**TEXAS**
We have been here for almost 2 years. At first I didn't like anything about Texas. It's super duper slow out here and it's hot as hell lol literally. Finally after we hit our 1 year mark here I have to say I love it out here. Were already making Texas our home and loving all the friendships we have already made. Everyone out here is very laid back and chill it's a nice change. No ones competing with each other I'm not trying to say it's drama-free but I do feel like if someone does good or good for themself people are truly happy for you. Get what I'm trying to say? lol I love the vibe!!.. I feel like Mosi and I are already planning our future. I'm really thinking we will settle here and retire from the jobs we have. So far everything is really good. So grateful for my job that allows us to go to Seattle,Utah and everywhere we need to go. I feel like when Mosi worked for Delta we had to plan trips then go. I notice here it's like I got a day off I'm leaving somewhere. Kinda unplanned sometimes or last minute trips which is sometimes the best ones lol. It's crazy cause everyone has flying benefits in Texas and it doesn't feel like it does in Salt Lake when we are sitting up in the same gate watching the standby list. Omg seriously American is a huge blessing especially since we don't travel by seniority it's first come first serve. I love my job! I gotta say it's the most relaxing job I've had it's probably why I love Texas even more. Mosi loves his job too he was working as a clerk but switched crafts (better schedule and more mula) working as mailman. Even in this blazing heat he loves it I keep encouraging him to go back and work inside but he doesn't want too lol (if you know him you would know he's a busy body) so it works for him but hopefully his supervisor convinces him to go back to other position. Will see what happens but work is great for both of us.
We aren't planning anything crazy this anniversary well not that I know of (knowing him lol). We are planning to take a trip to Tahiti this coming February for valentines day so we are totally pumped for that. I started couponing again my friend asked me to help her learn. So I've been busy with that again. I'm actually on vacation right now this past week and also next week. If I wasn't feeling sick I would've been in Maui right now lol but I'm happy I ended up staying cause I was able to get other things I needed to get done. I can't wait for Monday just to celebrate our Anniversary. I honestly don't know what I'd do without Emosi. We balance each other very well and we know what the other person needs. We've been through so many things together and I'm ready for whatever Heavenly Father has instore for us. Everyday is not perfect but if we trust in the Lord and truly cleave to each other it all works out. Be true and always lift each other up ! 8 years down eternity to go!!
