Weight loss Journey!
Yes I'm actually still doing it.. I think this is the longest I've committed myself and really it's all thanks to my sis Kristy. I made so many changes already since I've started on this journey.
1. Drinking water- This was so hard for especially since we have a soda fountain at work with unlimited free soda all day which is no bueno!. I would always drink soda at work like nothing and make the excuse that I needed caffeine to stay up. I would also have my refrigerator at home stocked up with Gatorade and powerade... I told myself it was healthier and it was okay to drink it. Well I'm so happy to say that water is my drink of preference now which is unbelievable cause I be drinking water like no ones business now lol. So happy I made that change because that was a extreme change for me :)
2. Eating Habits- First 2 weeks I was religiously packing my lunch and not eating after 7pm. It was good and took a lot of will power. I am still doing good with food choices but I've been slacking on my packing but I'll be back on it tomorrow. I also know the difference of when I'm actually hungry and when I'm just hungry for fun lol. My husband and I are foodies we love to try different places and still have dreams to open to our spot one day but I notice I am doing better. We still go out and eat but now I know when to stop eating and I try to choose healthier choices at restaurants now.
3.GYM- Last but not least I dedicate 1 hour sometimes 1 1/2 at the gym. I've been going 5x sometimes 6x a week. I guess I want it real bad the first week I pushed myself so much I still don't know how I'm still alive. I am so grateful for my sis Kristy she pushes me so hard to the point that I want to cry and leave lol... no i'm being serious tho!... and my first week I dropped 5lbs... I can't even believe it. Last week Kristy couldn't workout cause they had a funeral in the family but I still hit the gym. Maybe not as hard as I should've but I still went. Last week kinda killed my vibe maybe cause I didn't have Ki helping and pushing me hard I didn't lose crap!.but I still kept that 5lbs off. Just yesterday she was back in the gym with me and let me just say I had to call in sick today. I feel so sore and my time of the month came hard I know (Too much Info) but to me that's a good thing my period is irregular and I haven't had a regular period in forever. So I'm guessing this is a good thing (once again Too much Info). Well if your a girl you know what I'm talking about....
I may have not lost as much as I would like but honestly for the first time I feel good!!.... Like I can do work in the gym now especially when I keep saying "I can't" "I'm gonna die" I have my sis pushing and yelling at me "Yes you can" lol I know for a fact I will thank myself later for pushing myself hard in the gym and for not cheating on my diet... I don't even want to eat anything fattening I can see how not worth it is when I'm in the gym. I am going to be pushing myself hard.... I know for a fact I will be the size I want to be cause I'm doing work for it. I'm not wishing for it I'm working for it!.... Excited! :)
