November 2015
I haven't blogged in forever so here is the total update on me lol.
1. Texas:
I think Texas is really starting to grow on me. It could be because the weather is totally perfect right now or it could be I am finally giving it a chance. I must say that one thing I love love about Texas is the beautiful skies in the evening. Since I've lived in a few states now I can tell you the good and bad about every state we've lived in. Here in Texas I love everything the food choices (foodie in me or feti) hands down have the best choices in korean food they have like a little korea town here we love love it. Texas is also real chill people are not always busy but I notice people are much more relaxed. I don't feel pressured to have a nice ride or a huge house or to have things to show. I'm fine being poor and no one cares. lol
2. American Airlines:
Okay so we live like literally 7 minutes from the airport so all day long if you look up at the sky all you see is American planes. I worked for the airlines longtime ago when we still lived in Hawaii and I loved it. So when we moved to Utah I applied for Delta Reservations and got the job but stupid me was not motivated to go and work for them. I just didn't know see why it would make sense for both of us to work there. Well I always regret walking away from that opportunity lol cause now every time I apply I never get it lol. Anyways fast forward to now work has been great I must say I love love love love the flexibility I have work. I can pick up as many hours as I want and I can give away as much as I want. There is also what we call (VTO) Voluntary Time Off it's the fricken devil. If it's slow they allow you to voluntarily take time off without pay. Yeah I'm always putting in for VTO and getting off early having a ball doing nothing. Then when payday rolls around yeah poor for days lol..
We don't have as much perks as Delta but one thing I love about American is the way we travel standby. It is not by seniority it is by who checks in first (yup) so the list is sorted out that way. So if someone with higher seniority shows up it doesn't matter it just matters who checked in first. We just merged with US airways and they keep adding new flights. They just added Auckland NZ to the list and we are beyond excited. We will be using our benefits to the max we will not let them go to waste this time. So to end this looooooooooooong American Airlines section just want to say I love being apart of #TeamAA excited to see where this journey with American takes me.
3. November
It's here already! Holidays came by quickly and it's the month of Thanksgiving. Like I said above I am poor but I am still living and I happy with everything life challenges us with. Life is honestly what you make it.
"Live with gratitude and change your attitude."
Dude I made that up but it sounds tight!.. But for real tho! If things aren't going the way you want it change your attitude and the way you look at the situation. You will never be perfect so just keep pushing. I am so excited for the holidays! nothing major planned but spending time with family. All the beautiful things in life are free. lol.. Anyways as you can read I'm talking bubbles now so it's time to sleep. This entry will be continued later.
Some pix for your eyeballs lol.
To be continued
