Fighting Temptation. Week 2

This week has been so hard. I have been doing so good with working out and drinking water. The only thing I need to work on once again are my eating habits. I swear I have everything working against me I work as a cook at Shriners Hospital which means I am surrounded by food all day at work... Funny thing is I'm more tempted at home then at work not only was I blessed with a good husband I was blessed with a husband that can cook. I made it a goal to not eat after 6pm so when I work my regular shift 10-6:30 I make sure I eat at work before I come home. It doesn't help that my husband is making himself some good smelling food for his dinner makes me want to eat again lol.. Then on the weekends are the worst we end up eating out and of course I gotta eat the best thing on the menu lol.

This week I gotta push myself to do better. I'm just happy with the small changes I am making because I am making life changes to better my life not make instant changes just to win the money. I need to focus on me and only me. Nothing else matters especially how everyone else is doing. I am also In this weight loss club at work there is about 10 of us and every week we put in a $1.00 yup one dollar each and whoever loses the most weight takes the money. It's only about $10 a week but it's been helping me I won a few times and I'm hoping to win more these coming weeks cause it will really help me.

“It is better to take many small steps in the right direction than to make a great leap forward only to stumble backward.” ~Old Chinese Proverb

I believe this quote to be true. I need to keep in mind that I can't push myself so hard that i do lose the weight just to win the competition I need to take it little by little so I can train myself to live healthy and get use to this new life style.

“If you focus on results, you will never change. If you focus on change, you will get results.” ~Jack Dixon

I am so ready to see results but I know I need to focus on making changes.

Here's to a new week and pushing myself to overcome these bad habits that I've become so use to.

Most people fail, not because of lack of desire, but, because of lack of commitment.” ~Vince Lombardi

With that said. I am going to commit myself to stay focussed!!... Good luck to the rest of you on the same boat as me. I know your reading this lol....=]
